ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

Uganda AIDS Commission conducts Joint Annual AIDS Reviews of implementation of the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan (NSP) to fulfill its mandate of Strategic Information management for the response including national and international reporting obligations. The 2022 JAR/ Global AIDS Response Progress Reporting marks the second year of reporting on the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan and the seventh year for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

NHAS OBJECTIVES

  • To review performance of the national HIV and AIDS response during the second year of the NSP 2020/21 – 2024/25.
  • To provide a platform for sharing evidence from latest research studies for improved HIV programming
  • To show case the best practices in coordination and delivery of HIV and AIDS services
  • To commemorate the Philly Lutaaya Memorial Day
  • HIV/AIDS Financing Dialog
    To convene the Partnership Forum and agree on undertakings for implementation in FY 2022/23.
